This all new to me and I'm thrilled to start sharing what is happening in my knitting world.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:#3366ff;">About four years ago, I started knitting scarves and was rewarded by my son encouraging my efforts by saying that he felt I was "available" when I was knitting while watching TV with the family instead of working on my computer. <em><span style="font-family:georgia;font-size:85%;">Funny that now that he is doing his online chatting and game playing, my husband & I struggle with his being "unavailable" due to the computer</span></em>. </span><br /><span style="color:#3366ff;"></span><br /><span style="color:#3366ff;">I've chosen serenity knitting as my blogspot because knitting has given me serentiy....I feel part of a community, productive, creative and relaxed. Recently I had a health problem and I needed to calm myself down...I pulled out my knitting. I don't have very many pictures but I hope to get this done soon. I am hoping for a compact digital camera for my birthday and that will help with the process.
